A long time favourite to all garden enthusiasts, the Peace Lily is a low maintenance and adaptable houseplant. Fun fact, Peace Lily’s are not actually true Lily’s, but rather are a part of the Aracaea family.

The white blooms of the Peace Lily come out in Spring and can last for a few months.

Plant Care:

  1. Peace Lilys like to be positioned in light, partial shade. If the leaves begin to yellow it means the light is too strong, with brown leaves signifying damage from direct sunlight.

  2. Water your Peace Lily sparingly. The plant will tell you when it needs a drink, as the leaves will begin to droop and sag. Keep the soil moist, and generally water once a week.

  3. Peace Lily’s are poisonous to cats and dogs because the contain calcium oxalate, so if you have a furry friend in the house, be careful to position your Peace Lily out of reach.
